The Punjab government on Wednesday suspended district transport officer (Amritsar) Vimal Setia on charges of failing to discharge his duties properly.

The Punjab government on Wednesday suspended district transport officer (Amritsar) Vimal Setia on charges of failing to discharge his duties properly.
The DTO allegedly failed to check plying of illegal buses in the district, an official spokesman said.
Taking a serious note of this, Setia, a PCS, was placed under suspension with immediate effect, he said.
