Ministers Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Chunni Lal Bhagat, Madan Mohan Mittal, Surjit Kumar Jyani, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Anil Joshi, Surjit Singh Rakhra and Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said Guru Nanak showed us the path to spiritual salvation and his teachings would always continue to inspire us to embrace equality, compassion and humanism.

They said the day gives us an opportunity to deeply introspect about Guru Nanak's message of truthfulness.

The ministers said Guru Nanak's profound message of leading an honest, truthful and virtuous life would continue to guide and inspire humanity in times to come.
