Punjab: Seven IAS, 3 PCS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Sunday transferred seven IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and four PCS (Punjab Civil Service) officers. An official spokesperson said here that the transferred IAS officers include Sucha Ram Ladhar, who has been posted as director-cum-secretary of industries and commerce.

Alaknanda Dayal has been posted as director, welfare of the Scheduled Castes and the Backward Classes, with an additional charge of executive director, Punjab SC Land Development and Finance Corporation.

Shruti Singh has been posted as special secretary, revenue; Amar Partap Singh Virk as deputy commissioner, Nawanshahr; Ravinder Singh as DC, Fazilka; Dilraj Singh as special secretary, revenue, in addition to as director of land records, settlement, consolidation and land acquisition, Jalandhar; and Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon as director, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs.

The transferred PCS officers include Sakatar Singh Bal, posted as subdivisional magistrate (SDM), Dera Baba Nanak; Rakesh Kumar Popli, posted as SDM, Jagraon, in addition to as chairman, Ludhiana Improvement Trust; and Jaspal Singh, posted as Batala SDM.
