A team of the Haryana health department and food and dr ug administration on Saturday caught a doctor red-handed for indulging in sex-determination of a foetus in Rewari.

A team of the Haryana health department and food and drug administration on Saturday caught a doctor red-handed for indulging in sex-determination of a foetus in Rewari.

An official release said the team raided Sethi Hospital, Bawal Road, Rewari, where it caught Dr Subhash Sethi, owner of the hospital , red - handed while conducting sex determination.
The team had sent a decoy customer to Dr Subhash Sethi who examined her five-month pregnancy.

After deter mining the sex of the foetus, the doctor told her that she would have a male child and charged 4,000 for it, the release said.
