SAD appoints Rajinder Gupta as party general secy

Industrialist and Punjab State Planning Board vice-chairman Rajinder Gupta has been appointed as the SAD general secretary.

Announcing this in a press statement here on Saturday, SAD president Sukhbir Badal said that to acknowledge Gupta's contribution to society and the industrial sector, the SAD had appointed him to the post. He hoped that Gupta would carry forward the legacy of the SAD and contribute to the welfare of the party, society and Punjab with dedication. Gupta is the chairman of the Trident group.
