SAS Nagar lovers commit suicide at Bilaspur

Two lovers committed suicide in a private hotel at Sri Naina Devi, 85 km away from Bilaspur on Sunday.The victims were identified as Mohan Lal, 27, resident of SAS Nagar and Rajbindu, 25, of Suhana, Punjab.

According to the information, on Sunday the duo had their dinner around 8pm and around 11pm the hotel staff found empty bottles of poisons substance in the room. The hotel owner took them to community health center and later on they were referred to Anandpur Hospital. Rajbindu died on the way, while Lal died in the hospital.

DSP Vinod Kumar said during the investigations a suicide note was recovered in which the duo committing love claimed that they cannot live without each other and were taking this extreme step. He said police has registered case to further investigate the matter.
