SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, “In Section 354(D) of the IPC, there is a provision of a jail term of up to three years besides a fine.

The offence can be made out for stalking a person through the Internet, email or any form of electronic communication.” Section 354D was included in the IPC after protests for stricter laws for crimes against women following the Delhi gangrape.
