Thandal suffers heart attack, hospitalised

Punjab cabinet minister Sohan Singh Thandal on Monday suffered a minor heart attack at his native village during morning walk.

Punjab cabinet minister Sohan Singh Thandal on Monday suffered a minor heart attack at his native village during morning walk.

After being examined by a local doctor, he was referred to Fortis Hospital in SAS Nagar where he was operated upon and a stent was placed.

Chief minister Parkash Singh Badal also enquired about Thandal's health from the doctors at the hospital. Doctors attending to the minister said he was recovering and was out of danger.
