Two arrested for carrying ganga
The UT police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two persons, including a woman, for carrying ganja (cannabis).A woman was held near SD Mandir, Sector 24, with 700gm of cannabis. A case under Section 20 of the NDPS Act was registered against her at the Sector-11 police station.

In another case, Bhupinder Singh of Balongi, Adarsh Nagar, was held with 100gm of marijuana near Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 56. A case under Section 20 of the NDPS Act was registered at the Sector-39 police station.
