Vikramaditya justifies action against youth Cong activists in Gagret

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh's son and state Youth Congress president Vikramaditya Singh justified action against youth activists in Gagret even as local MLA Rakesh Kalia has accused him of interfering in day-to-day party affairs in his constituency.

In a release issued by the state Youth Congress office here, Vikramaditya said it was necessary to wield a stick of discipline to inculcate discipline among the Yyouth Congress activists.

He, however, added, “I have regards for Gagret legislator Rakesh Kalia.

He said that notices were issued to Youth Congress activists on the complaint of Chintpurni MLA Kuldeep Kumar, who is also head of the state planning commission. “State Youth Congress had issued show cause notices to certain activists who were asked to clarify (their position) through telephone,” he said while adding that the party would decide on the matter only after receiving their replies.
