They also burnt the effigy of member of parliament (MP) Kirron Kher at Raipur Khurd village.
Harmail Kesri, vice-president, Chandigarh Youth Congress, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Sanjay Tandon was busy in celebrating his birthday at a blood donation camp and MP Kirron Kher was in the city but she did not take any interest to visit the places where demolition drive and sealings were carried out and had no concern about the houses and shops of the city residents.

Pawan Sharma, senior party leader, said during the tenure of Congress MP Pawan Bansal no single wall was demolished by the administration.
