A fatal crash on the Mangaluru–Bengaluru National Highway (NH-75) early Saturday claimed the lives of three people and left six others critically injured, Dakshina Kannada district police said.
The incident took place near Narayan Guru Circle at BC Road in Bantwal .

The incident took place near Narayan Guru Circle at BC Road in Bantwal when an Innova heading from Bengaluru toward Udupi reportedly went out of control and rammed into the circle, news agency PTI reported.
The vehicle was carrying nine occupants, all of whom were related, according to preliminary findings.
Three passengers, Ravi (64), Nanjamma (75) and Ramya (23), all residents of Bengaluru, died on the spot. The remaining six, including the driver, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
