The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has launched ‘HSVP on wheels’ service for citizens who are unable to visit the headquarters due to old age, ailment, or any other constraint. HSVP chief administrator Ajit Balaji Joshi said that HSVP on wheels would allow citizens to mark their attendance with a biometric device from the comfort of their home for transfer permission.

Joshi said though the service was launched in May 2022, it has been made simpler and provides better accessibility. The vision behind this service was to make HSVP services to be more accessible for every citizen irrespective of their limitations.

The HSVP CA said that to avail of this service a citizen should first make a request on the official website of HSVP and fill out a form providing details. “The citizen can then choose a slot as per their convenience on the website. The application is then reviewed by the concerned authorities and on being processed is sent to the registered email ID of the applicant so that the need to visit the office premises is eliminated,” he said.

Property tax data correction camp

Panchkula The Urban Local Bodies in Haryana will conduct a ‘property tax data correction camp’ on January 27, 28 and 29 across the state.

The official order said that against the target for completion of integration by December 31, as of today, there are still 9.79 lakh properties pending integration across the state. Issuing directions, the deputy municipal commissioner for director general, urban local bodies, Haryana, issued directions that all the ULBs will set up a dedicated property tax data correction camp for the assistance of citizens and rectifying the objections.
