Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in collaboration with Punjab Police on Monday recovered two drones which came from the Pakistan side near the international border at village Rattan Khurd of Amritsar district and village Rajoke of Tarn Taran district.

“On August 6 at about 10.00 PM, Border Security Force troops deployed at the border, heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan to Indian territory in the area near village Rattan Khurd. As per the laid down drill, troops endeavoured to intercept the drone,” the BSF spokesperson said.
“Further, on the morning of Aug 7, a joint search operation with Punjab Police was carried out. During the search of the area, troops recovered 01 Drone along with 01 battery (damaged) from the farming field near the village. The recovered drone is a Hexacopter,” the spokesperson added.
In another incident, the BSF personnel deployed at the border near village Rajoke heard the buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan to Indian territory at 3.30 am on Monday. It was also intercepted by the BSF.
Further, in the morning, a joint search operation with Punjab Police was carried out. During the search of the area, troops recovered one drone from the farming field near the village.
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter, model - DJI Matric RTK- 300.
