MC officials said almirahs, tyres and other spare parts of cars kept on the road and other non-designated places were taken away.
An MC official said, “They were causing hindrance to the visitors. The items were scattered around the whole market. We have been getting complaints regarding the same.”
“We have regularly been holding challan drives here. The mechanics encroaching the government land have also been warned. Their goods will be released only after they pay the challan amount,” the official added.
