Congress is the only alternative to BJP: Rajni Patil
Senior AICC leader and Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Rajni Patil on Wednesday said people were “fed up with BJP’s poor performance, opportunist and wrong policies, for which there was a strong wave among the people who want change in Jammu and they look towards the Congress”. She said the Congress is the only viable alternative to the BJP, which has utterly failed on all fronts and snatched the statehood, dignity and rights, employment and trade of the people. Addressing a big gathering of party workers here, Patil said the BJP has vitiated the atmosphere of peace, harmony and progress and downgraded the historical state against the wishes of people. J&KPCC chief GA Mir also raised a strong pitch on the issue of restoration of historical Dogra state of Jammu and Kashmir, which, he said, “was snatched from people, arbitrarily and undemocratically on August 5, 2019”. Mir said the delimitation exercise was biased and has caused more injustice to different areas. AICC spokesperson Alka Lamba also took a swipe at the BJP for “playing with the sentiments” of people.
