Man charred to death while unplugging e-rickshaw in Haryana’s Hansi
The deceased was identified as Naresh Kumar, a resident of Multan colony in Hansi. His 35-year-old wife Jyoti, 12-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter received burn injuries. The deceased was a rickshaw puller.
A 40-year-old man was charred to death and his wife and two children received burn injuries in a fire that broke out when an e-rickshaw was being charged at their house in Hansi on Thursday morning.
Hansi police spokesperson Kuldeep Kumar said that the incident occurred around 5.30 am when Naresh unplugged the e-rickshaw charger and suddenly a fire broke out from the e-rickshaw.

“He and other family members suffered burn injuries. The neighbours controlled the situation. The injured are undergoing treatment and they are out of danger. Victim’s body was sent to civil hospital for post-mortem,” the spokesperson added.
