With an aim to provide better health facilities to common people, more mohalla clinics or Aam Aadmi Clinics will be opened in the city. Sub-divisional magistrate (East) Gursimran Singh Dhillon reviewed suitable venues for the same in Ludhiana North assembly constituency.

Giving out information, the SDM said the state government opened the mohalla clinics near the local Chand Cinema on Independence Day — August 15. In a continuation of the same, more mohalla clinics are being opened in the city, for which various suitable places at ward numbers 88, 90, and 95 under Halka North today were reviewed, he added.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Aman Bagga said with the opening of these clinics, common people will not have to go to distant hospitals for minor medical issues.
