The Hisar vigilance and anti-corruption bureau (ACB) arrested the Bhiwani women’s police station SHO red-handed for allegedly taking a ₹7,000 bribe to settle a two-year-old case of a family dispute.

Vigilance officials stated that a raid was conducted on Tuesday night after they received a complaint regarding an alleged bribe. The ACB team recovered ₹7,000 from the accused officer, Kamlesh, during the operation.
The raid created a stir in the police department, as vigilance officials remained at the police station for several hours and carried out further investigation.
