Tanvir Sadiq is National Conference’s chief spokesperson

Gagan Bhagat, former BJP MLA from RS Pura, has been nominated as deputy chief spokesperson and in-charge of capacity building and training, said an official statement issued by the National Conference

The National Conference on Saturday revamped its media and communication cells by nominating party leader Tanvir Sadiq as the chief spokesperson of the party and in-charge of communications.

“Gagan Bhagat, former BJP MLA from RS Pura, has been nominated as deputy chief spokesperson and in-charge of capacity building and training,” said an official statement issued here.

Tanvir Sadiq was the adviser to former CM Omar Abdullah in his government.

Party’s youth leaders Zeeshan Rana and Thakur Yashu Vardhan Singh have been nominated as additional spokespersons for Jammu. Mudassir Shahmiri has been nominated as deputy political secretary to Omar Abdullah.

The order was issued by party president Farooq Abdullah and vice-president Omar Abdullah and approved by general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar.

J&K Police aspirants meet Ghulam Hassan Mir

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Police’s border battalion and CISF/BSF aspirants on Saturday met Apni Party senior vice-president Ghulam Hassan Mir here.

The delegation demanded that the government should fulfil the promises made to them and complete the pending recruitment process as early as possible.

Mir assured the delegation that their demands would be projected before the authorities concerned and the Apni Party extended its full support to them.
