Chief minister to launch bus service, other infra projects today
Mohan Lal Khattar will also lay the foundation stone for widening Pataudi Road to a six-lane road between Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Dwarka Expressway.
After many delays, the Gurugaman bus service is set to be launched on Sunday with a flag-off by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who will also inaugurate three other projects in the city.

Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) administrator Chander Shekhar Khare, who is also the CEO of city bus service, said the chief minister will launch the city bus service from the Sector 10 bus depot. “All arrangements are being made to ensure that the city bus service delivers quality service to the commuters,” he said.
Apart from inaugurating the bus service, Khattar will also be laying the foundation stone for widening Pataudi Road to a six-lane road between Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Dwarka Expressway.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority will construct this road, which includes a six-lane flyover at Basai and expansion of the flyover on the Delhi-Rewari railway line.
The project also includes an underpass for small vehicles at Khandsa Road and two foot overbridges.
The entire project is estimated to cost Rs 80.75 crore.
According to officials, the remaining section of this road, from Hero Honda Chowk to Umang Bhardwaj Chowk, would be constructed by the National Highways Authority of India.
This sections will provide an alternative route to residents of Gurugram and Dwarka Expressway to reach Delhi, besides NH4, better known as the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
A government spokesperson said that the chief minister will also lay the foundation stone for an integrated command and control centre, being built at an expenditure of Rs 62.77 crore.
This command centre would integrate the close circuit television camera network and the 600-km-long optical fibre cable which will cover 345 major intersections of the city.
Khattar would also participate in the ‘SmarTgram’ initiative at Harchandpur, Alipur and Nayagaon villages.
Former President Pranab Mukherjee would also grace the occasion as he has been a driving force behind the SmarTgram initiative.
