The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released the party manifesto for the elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) slated to be held on December 4. The poll promises include doing away with trade, health, and factory license and building 'pucca' houses for slum dwellers among others.

The manifesto was released in the presence of Union minister and senior party leader Piyush Goyal who attacked the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government in the national capital for "failing in their duty of working together with the Centre".

"I feel that AAP has completely failed in their duty of working together with Centre & Corporation and serving the people of Delhi, in slum rehabilitation & bringing facilities to slums. AAP gave nothing to Delhi except a corrupt Govt," news agency ANI quoted him.

Here's what the 12-point manifesto promises:

1) All services of the MCD will be brought online through a mobile application.

2) Hundred per cent garbage will be processed through waste-to-energy conversion for a green and clean Delhi.

3) Every slum dweller to be provided flats and 17,000 flats are ready for allotment.

4) The party said it will do away with trade and health licenses, and also abolish factory licenses.

5) It also announced that 50 'jan rasois' run by women will be opened in the city at ₹5 per meal.

6) Free cycles will be provided to meritorious girls in MCD schools and all such schools wil be upgraded as smart schools by 2027.

7) Monthly scholarship will be provided to students above Class 5.
