Four-storey building collapses in Delhi’s Malkaganj; 2 kids die under rubble

A four-storey building collapsed in north Delhi’s Malkaganj near Subzi Mandi late on Monday morning. Two children, both brothers, were rescued from the debris but were declared brought dead at Bada Hindu Rao hospital. One person was rescued and was undergoing treatment at the hospital.

A car parked nearby was badly damaged as debris from the building fell on it, police and fire department officials said.

Deputy commissioner of police (north) Anto Alphonse said, “The rescue operation is still on and the local police officials are there. Further information will be shared soon.”
