Gurugram police commissioner Kala Ramachandran on Monday held an interdistrict meeting with senior officials of neighbouring districts, and additional director general of polices (ADGPs) of South and Rohtak police ranges of Haryana for “increasing cooperation and collaboration” between them and take action against criminals operating in the districts, said officials on Monday.

The meeting was also aimed at sharing intelligence and information on gangs, criminals and patterns of criminal activities taking place across the districts.

The commissioner also focused on the highly active gangs in Gurugram and in adjoining districts of Haryana. Ramachandran also raised the issue of cattle smuggling from Delhi and other states to Mewat, Nuh and other districts via Gurugram, and a way to take action against the criminals jointly.
