Nearly 30% of Ram temple construction work completed, says VHP gen secy

LUCKNOW Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary, Milind Parande, on Tuesday stated that around 30% of Ram temple’s construction work had been completed, and it would be opened for devotees by December 2023.

“Around 30% construction work of Ram Mandir has been completed. By the end of December 2023, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be opened for devotees,” Parande told media persons on Tuesday. He was in Ayodhya for an organisational meeting.

The VHP general secretary stated that around six states had formulated anti-conversion law due to his organisation’s efforts.

“We are making efforts so that the Centre brings an anti-conversion law. Before the budget session, we had taken up this issue with members of parliament,” said Parande.

Meanwhile, chairman of Ram Mandir Construction Committee, Nripendra Misra, presided over meeting of the construction committee to review the ongoing construction work of the temple.
