They will take out a torch procession in several cities on November 28 before starting indefinite work boycott from November 29 if their demands are not met in response to a call already given by the U.P. Vidyut Karmchari Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti.
“On Friday, engineers and employees boycotted the management’s VC in and held state-wide protest meetings and shouted slogans against the management in the evening,” Sangharsh Samiti leader Shailendra Dubey said.
They alleged that the management’s arbitrary style of functioning had created a lot of resentment among employees who were being denied their legitimate due.
