Mishra was in Ayodhya to review the progress of the ongoing 98 projects that are worth over 21,831 crore.

At the review meeting, Mishra inquired about the progress of the road-widening projects.

For the Ram Path, the chief secretary wanted completion of the works from Naya Ghat to Udya Crossing to be done by October 31.

The chief secretary also inquired about the progress of the Ayodhya International Airport.

Mishra carried out an on-spot inspection of the land earmarked at the Ram Katha Park for construction of a guest house/hotel.

Officials of the Larsen and Toubro, who will execute the project, told the chief secretary that it would be completed within 35 days by using precast construction material.

This guest house/hotel will have five-star facilities.

The chief secretary also inspected the Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat where a jetty is coming up. Thereafter, Mishra went to the Guptar Ghat to inspect the tent city project.

The chief secretary also distributed certificates to house owners selected for the Home Stay project. Under this project, 160 houses have been selected where tourists can stay during their Ayodhya visit. Divisional commissioner Gaurav Dayal apprised the chief secretary about the project.
