ACB summons Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Nitin Deshmukh
He is the third MLA from Thackeray-faction to receive ACB notice after Rajan Salvi and Vaibhav Naik.
Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Nitin Deshmukh, who returned from Guwahati and remained loyal to party chief Uddhav Thackeray, has been summoned by the state Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for an investigation. He is the third MLA from Thackeray-faction to receive ACB notice after Rajan Salvi and Vaibhav Naik.

Deshmukh, who represents the Balapur assembly in the Akola district, said on Monday that he received the ACB notice because of his loyalty to Shiv Sena (UBT) and alleged that it is a pressure tactic to change his loyalty.
“I have received notice from ACB and they have asked me to file a reply on January 17 regarding a property,” he said. “A few days ago, MP Bhavna Gavali who changed loyalties to Shinde camp had filed a case against me. Now the ACB office of Amravati has issued the notice to me. I will answer it. This notice has no details of the complaint and I will address a press conference on January 17 in Amravati.”
