Black magic: Woman offers to multiply money, robs man of ₹1.35 lakh
According to the police, the incident took place last Thursday, but as the complainant, Dhirendra Tiwari, was admitted to a hospital, the FIR was registered on Tuesday.
MUMBAI: The Kashimira police are on the search for a woman, who allegedly lured a 33-year-old beer shop owner on the pretext of multiplying his money using black magic and robbed him of ₹1.35 lakh after spiking his drink.

According to the police, the incident took place last Thursday, but as the complainant, Dhirendra Tiwari, was admitted to a hospital, the FIR was registered on Tuesday.
According to the complaint, a few months back at party, Tiwari was approached by a woman, who introduced herself as Khushboo Pandey a few months ago in a party.
Pandey told Tiwari that she does black magic and knew how to “make it rain money”. She had promised him that if her gave her ₹2 lakhs, she would multiply the amount and he would be able to walk out with crores of rupees. Tiwari decided to give her ₹1.35 lakh.
Last Thursday, the two met at Mira Road and went to the Miracle Hotel at Ghodbunder Road in Kashimira. Tiwari told the police that she gave him something to drink. Tiwari fell unconscious after drinking it. The next day when he woke up, he felt groggy and got himself admitted to a hospital.
Police officers said that they have registered a case under sections 328 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code for causing hurt by poison and cheating.
“We are trying to identify the woman, who robbed Tiwari, by spiking his drink. We are scanning the CCTV recordings of the hotel and nearby areas to find out which direction did she travel after leaving the hotel,” said a police officer from Kashimira police station.
