In a press statement, she said, “India has achieved a position in the world economy but due to one businessman, there is a disappointment among the people. The (Adani) episode is going to have adverse impact on the economy of the country and the livelihood of the people. On top of it, the central government did not take the people in confidence during the Budget session of the Parliament.”
Meanwhile, she also wished people on the occasion of the birth anniversary of mystic poet and reformer Sant Ravidas. The BSP supremo said that the ruling parties should not just bow before Sant Ravidas for their narrow political interests but also follow his path. “Those in the power should work for the welfare of the people. That would be the real tribute to him,” she added.
