PUNE A sanitation staff member working at the head office of the crime investigation department (CID), Maharashtra, was booked on Tuesday for allegedly stealing four UPS inverters from the office at Ganeshkhind road.
The accused has been identified as Anant Vishwanath More (34), a resident of Vidhate Vasti, Baner.
Since the incident, the man is on the run. The act has been caught in the CCTV cameras of the building while stealing the inverters from a room in the office at Ganeshkhind road.
The local police are now on the lookout for the accused.
A case under Section 381 (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of master) of the Indian Penal Code was registered at Chaturshrungi police station against the sanitation worker.
