Pune district reports 79 new Covid cases, no death

The progressive count stands at 1.45 million out of which 1.43 million have recovered, 20,509 deaths registered and 1,042 are active cases

PUNE As per the state health department, Pune district reported 79 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths due to the infection on Monday. This took the progressive count to 1.45 million out of which 1.43 million have recovered, 20,509 deaths registered and 1,042 are active cases.

Pune rural reported 54 new Covid-19 cases which took the progressive count to 425,256 and the death toll stood at 7,143.

Pimpri-Chinchwad reported 2 new Covid-19 cases and the progressive count went up to 347,100 and the toll stood at 3,589.

Till now Pune district, as per the CoWin dashboard as of Monday saw in total 17.46 million doses have been registered. Out of which 9.52 million are first doses, 7.68 million are second doses and 2,48,055 were precautionary doses. A total of 461 sites saw vaccination out of which 385 were government centres and 76 were private.
