Pune: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar won hearts after a brief interaction with a young fan on Tilak Road in the city. The incident took place near the SP College signal, where a youngster identified as Soham Margaje was waiting on his bike. Suddenly, a Range Rover stopped nearby and the driver rolled down the window to speak to him. To his surprise, it was Tendulkar himself.

Tendulkar reportedly asked the youngster, “Where is your helmet? Take care and go slow.”

Soham, taken aback by the unexpected encounter, was unable to respond immediately. He later clicked a selfie with the cricket icon, which soon went viral on social media. The interaction has drawn widespread appreciation online, with many also highlighting road safety and helmet use.

Overwhelmed by the moment, Soham said he has now decided to always wear a helmet while riding.
