A youth from Sitapur died of suspected dengue while undergoing treatment in Lucknow on Wednesday. He was brought to the trauma centre after being referred by doctors in Sitapur. The patient had tested positive in a private lab. Health officials said no dengue patient from Lucknow had died so far. The city has reported over 300 dengue cases since January this year.
