Decisions made by the BCCI Working Committee

Following are the decisions made by the BCCI Working Committee after its meeting on Mumbai on Saturday.

* Rahul Dravid retained as captain. The top order batsman will lead the side in the upcoming tours of Bangladesh and England besides a one-day series in Ireland.

* Former all-rounder Ravi Shastri appointed 'Cricket Manager' for the tour of Bangladesh.

* Former players Venkatesh Prasad and Robin Singh appointed bowling and fielding coach respectively.

* Zonal representation in the selection committee to be abolished and replaced by an all-India panel.

* Player contract system scrapped. Players to be paid match fees with bonus for each series win.

* Show-cause issued to Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh for their comments in th media in violation of 'Player Code of Conduct'.
