Zak Crawley bagged a stylish century, smacking 189 off 182 balls to give his side a lead of 67 runs. Meanwhile, Joe Root bagged a half-century, slamming 84 off 95 deliveries. Harry Brook (14*) and Ben Stokes (24*) will resume batting for the hosts on Day 3. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc scalped two wickets for the visitors. Earlier, A five-wicket haul by Chris Woakes helped England bowl out Australia for 317 in 90.2 overs in the first session. Woakes had already dismissed David Warner (32), Mitchell Marsh (51), Cameron Green (16) and Alex Carey (20) on Day 1. With Australia resuming from 299/8, Woakes took the final wicket on Day 2 to end Australia's first innings, removing Josh Hazlewood (4).
