HC directs Ganguly to pay up

The Calcutta High Court on Monday directed former India captain Sourav Ganguly to pay Rs 43.75 lakh for a plot of land in posh Salt Lake town, which was allotted to him by the Bengal government.

The Calcutta High Court on Monday directed former India captain Sourav Ganguly to pay Rs 43.75 lakh for a plot of land in posh Salt Lake town, which was allotted to him by the Bengal government. A division bench directed Ganguly to pay within six weeks, failing which the lease shall stand terminated.
