CSK opt to field, Dhoni returns

The RCBvsCSK first round was a one-sided affair. In the IPL 2019 opener, RCB were bowled out for 70 on a slow and turning Chidambaram track. Kohli and Co. would look to put it behind their back and put together a strong performance tonight to keep their play-off hopes alive.
De Villiers set to return
AB de Villiers, who missed the last match because of a concussion, is expected to be back for today’s game against CSK. With AB back and the kind of form Kohli is in, we can expect another high-scoring match tonight at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
MS Dhoni fitness
M S Dhoni missed the game against SRH due to a stiff back but will probably be fit for the game today. You will be keeping your fingers crossed if you are a CSK fan.
Hello and welcome
Welcome to the live coverage of the IPL 2019 encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. Defending champions CSK, who lost to SRH in the previous game for only their second loss this season, will get to 16 points with a win at the Chinnaswamy and it should be enough to guarantee a place in the top-four. RCB could also take a cue from a similar situation in 2016 when they had lost five of their first seven games, but ended up in the playoffs after winning six of their last seven matches.
