His group filed its nominations for 21 posts and Amin Pathan has filed his nomination for the post of secretary.

After filing the nominations papers, Modi said, “I am filing my nomination for this post because I have to do more work for Rajasthan cricket. “I want to extend cricket facilities to Ajmer, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur,” he said.

Modi said the Indian Premiere League’s (IPL) second edition would be organised in Jaipur as well. “A gala ceremony will be organised in Jaipur on April 10,” he said.

On whether he was receiving support from the Ashok Gehlot government, Modi said. “The present government is not extending support which was the case during the previous BJP government.”

Modi said Chief Minister Gehlot and PCC president C. P. Joshi had assured him of full support for the IPL matches in Rajasthan. “But the government's interference in the RCA had belied such claims.
