MS Dhoni gave a special ‘masterclass’ training session to DJ Bravo and Ruturaj Gaikwad, but it wasn't about cricket.
With IPL 2023 set to begin, fans are gearing up for some exciting cricket action and extravaganza. Gujarat Titans face Chennai Super Kings in the season opener, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The four-time IPL champions had a disappointing campaign in IPL 2022, finishing in ninth position in the ten-team table. The MS Dhoni-led side won four matches, lost 10 and bagged eight points in total. With the new season upcoming, Dhoni will be aiming to challenge for the title, in what could also be his last season.
He led CSK to the IPL 2021 title, defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs in the final. Ahead of the new season, the franchise has been keeping fans updated about their team's preparations and they seem to be working hard. According to the posts, the players also seem to be bonding well, with a recent post showing it to its fullest potential. CSK posted two photos on Monday, where Dhoni could be seen whistling lessons to Ruturaj Gaikwad and DJ Bravo.

During the IPL 2023 auction, CSK broke the bank for Ben Stokes, purchasing the England all-rounder for ₹16.25 crores. The franchise also acquired Kyle Jamieson for ₹1 crores. Meanwhile, they also roped in Nishant Sindhu ( ₹60 lakhs), Ajinkya Rahane ( ₹50 lakhs), Bhagath Varma ( ₹20 lakhs), Ajay Mandal ( ₹20 lakhs) and Shaik Rasheed ( ₹20 lakhs).
