Niranjan Shah refuses to comment on HC order

Former BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah refused to comment on the Calcutta High Court's directive to initiate criminal proceedings against six top officials for filing false affidavits in the Jagmohan Dalmiya expulsion case.

Former BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah on Thursday refused to comment on the Calcutta High Court's directive to initiate criminal proceedings against six top officials for filing false affidavits in the Jagmohan Dalmiya expulsion case, saying the Board lawyers were handling the case.

"I have not seen the papers yet. The matter is sub-judice and we are leaving the case to be dealt by our lawyers," said. Shah, who is among the six officials against whom criminal proceedings would be initiated.
