No Dhawan, Suryakumar in Laxman's probable India XI for first England T20I
Speaking about the first match of the series, former India batsman and commentator VVS Laxman has given his probable XI for Team India.
When India take to the field against England in the first T20 international on Friday, it will kick-start their journey towards the ICC T20 World Cup, that is slated to take place in India itself later this year.

The squad for the series comprises of several new faces, who earned a call-up through their performances in the last edition of the IPL. The series will give Virat Kohli and the team management to look beyond the tried and tested talent and create a team that could challenge for the title, that India last won in 2007.

Speaking about the first match of the series, former India batsman and commentator VVS Laxman has given his probable XI for Team India. Laxman suggested his playing XI for the first match while speaking on the show 'Gameplan' on Star Sports.
India has been in the need for a swashbuckling opener in T20 cricket for a while now, who could take the game away from the opposition in the first 6 overs and that is Laxman has suggested that the team should now look beyond Shikhar Dhawan.
The other big absence from the team he has chosen in Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav, who has been widely tipped to make his India debut in the series.
