Getting MS Dhoni's wicket is right up there on every bowler's wishlist. Now Dhoni may have retired from international cricket, but he still plays the IPL, and each time a franchise takes on Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni's wicket is something every bowler targets. This year, when Punjab Kings took on CSK in the 11th match, Dwaine Pretorius who had Dhoni out caught behind, but while it was a fine moment for the South Africa pacer, 28-year-old Jitesh Sharma was equally happy, for it was him who took the catch to dismiss Dhoni.

What made the moment sweeter for Sharma is the fact that he used the Decision Review System – something that Dhoni is a master of – to get the wicket. Dhoni was out caught down the leg side off Rahul Chahar, and while the umpire initially called it a wide, Sharma was convinced there was bat involved and convinced his captain Mayank Agarwal to go upstairs. Upon reviewing, the ultra-edge detected a spike as the ball went past the bat and Dhoni was declared out.

"It was just an instinct. I give my 100 percent whenever I walk out into the field. One can even say I put out my 110 percent. That's the kind of person I am. I love to win and I want to be on the ground be it fielding, batting, planning, strategizing, be it in any capacity – I want to be on the field. It was an instinctive appeal. I just had a feeling that there was a wooden sound and I should go for an appeal. I know that I was not able to control my emotions because I knew that MS Dhoni sir was out," Sharma told Dr. Yash Kashikar on his show 'Say Yash to Sports'

Dhoni's dismissal was a crucial point in the match. With PBKS defending 180, CSK were in trouble with 98/7 but as long as Dhoni was batting, there was hope. But the CSK captain's innings ended on 23 and PBKS dismissed CSK to 126 to win the match by 54 runs.
