Charlie Henderson

Charlie Henderson is an Australian wicketkeeper who has emerged through Cricket Australia's junior pathway. A right-handed batter, Henderson represents Queensland and has been part of the state's junior cricket system, with his performances earning recognition at the national level.

His progress was highlighted in March 2026 when he was selected for Cricket Australia's U19 Men's Talent Camp in Adelaide. Henderson was one of 25 players identified from the previous National U17 Male Championships for the camp, which formed part of Australia's preparations for the 2028 ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup cycle. The programme included 50-over and T20 intra-squad matches alongside high-performance testing and development sessions.

Henderson's selection placed him among a group of Queensland prospects being monitored as part of the national pathway, alongside players such as Spencer Green, Eli Brain and Theodore Bacalakis. His ability to contribute with both bat and behind the stumps gives him an additional dimension as he continues to develop, while his inclusion in Australia's 16-member U19 squad for the multi-format tour of India in 2026 represents an important step towards higher-level youth cricket.
