South Africa vs Sri Lanka, 1st ODI cricket score: SA beat SL by eight wickets

South Africa national cricket team beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the first ODI against Sri Lanka cricket team at Port Elizabeth on Saturday. Hashim Amla and Faf du PLessis scored half centuries in the chase. Earlier, Sri Lanka were all bowled out for 181 in 48.3 overs . South Africa’s Imran Tahir and Wayne Parnell took three wickets each. Chasing 182 for victory, South Africa scored 185/2 in 34.2 overs to win by eight wickets against Sri Lanka national cricket team in first ODI at Port Elizabeth on Saturday. Hashim Amla scored 55 and Faf du Plessis hit 57 for the hosts. Earlier, Imran Tahir and Wayne Parnell took three wickets each as South Africa national cricket team bowled out Sri Lanka for 181 in 48.3 overs after putting them to bat . Kusal Mendis stroked his eighth fifty for the visitors. The five-match ODI series will be first real preparation for the Champions Trophy in June.
