The team buses were taken close to the aircraft inside the NSC Bose International Airport's parking bay for the players to board as a security measure.

The teams, accompanied by commandoes in the buses, were driven straight to the team hotel in south Kolkata.

Injured Indian player Yuvraj Singh, who has been ruled out of action for the remaining two matches of the series, did not accompany the team. Sachin Tendulkar had come to the city earlier on Tuesday morning for a felicitation function.
