“We have to unearth a whole network in which more than hundred brokers and a thousand prostitutes were involved. He has also amassed huge properties in Mumbai, Noida, Kolkata, Varanasi and Gowardhan,” the Special Public Prosecutor submitted before Additional Sessions Judge S K Sarvaria.

The Delhi police produced eight diaries and five CDs allegedly containing details of the prostitutes, their clients and the payments made by them.

The investigators sought five days’ police remand, which the court granted it, of the accused under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), saying they have to decipher the coded details of over 3,000 contacts in his phone book. The court sent him to police custody till March 20.
