"On Wednesday morning, the hotel staff knocked his room's door, but there was no response. They, then, opened the door with a duplicate key and found him hanging," said a senior police officer. Vipin was scheduled to leave on Tuesday evening.

Initial investigation suggests that a failed love affair might be a reason behind this taking to the extreme step. "We have recovered a suicide note from the room, in which he has stated that no one should be blamed for his death. He was depressed because of his love affair," the officer added. Police have informed his family in Kerala and postmortem will be conducted after their arrival.
