A 29-year-old married woman committed suicide allegedly by jumping from the fourth floor of a building in south Delhi’s Mehrauli on Thursday night.

Anu, a senior police officer said, was under depression for some time and was reportedly undergoing treatment. She was married to Sandeep, a computer operator in Jawaharlal Nehru University. The couple has two children.

The incident came to light around 10.30pm when the police control room received a call. “We rushed her to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. No suicide note was recovered due to which the reason for the suicide could not be ascertained,” added the officer.
