6-year-old dies as MCD hospital wall collapses

A six-year-old schoolgirl was killed under the debris of a boundary wall that collapsed at a MCD public health centre in Gautam colony, Narela, on Friday morning. HT reports.

A six-year-old schoolgirl was killed under the debris of a boundary wall that collapsed at a MCD public health centre in Gautam colony, Narela, on Friday morning. The girl, Chinki, was on way to school at around 7.30am when the incident happened.

The MCD commissioner has ordered an inquiry into the tragic death.

He has directed the deputy commissioner of Narela zone to submit a comprehensive report within three days.

“MCD will take action against defaulting contractor or the officials responsible for the incident,” an MCD release said.
